Is GTA 6 coming to PC?

A PC version is widely expected because Rockstar's modern catalog includes PC releases, but expectation is not confirmation. The current GTA VI product pages and Take-Two release calendar list PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S only.

That distinction matters for SEO-heavy pages claiming a date. Until Rockstar adds Windows or the Rockstar Games Launcher to the platform list, there is no verified GTA6 PC launch window.

Why we are not publishing fake minimum specs

Rockstar has not released minimum or recommended Grand Theft Auto VI PC requirements. Tables naming a specific RTX card, processor, RAM figure, DirectStorage requirement, or install size are predictions. Eneba's guide is useful as a planning discussion, but its projected hardware should not be mistaken for a Rockstar spec sheet.

A real requirements announcement should identify the operating system, CPU, memory, GPU, storage, sound, and account or launcher requirements. It will appear on an official store or support page.

03

A sensible upgrade strategy

Do not rebuild a PC for an unannounced port. If you need a computer now, prioritize a balanced modern CPU, a GPU with adequate VRAM, 32GB of system memory, and spare NVMe storage—but buy for games you can benchmark today.

Waiting has two advantages: hardware prices can move, and Rockstar's final targets may depend on features not yet documented. The best-value GTA VI PC is the one built after real benchmarks exist.

  • Treat 32GB RAM and NVMe storage as general modern-gaming planning, not official GTA VI requirements
  • Ignore download-size claims without a storefront listing
  • Wait for Rockstar Launcher, Steam, or Epic listings before buying for one game

Likely PC timing—without pretending to know

GTA V and Red Dead Redemption 2 reached PC after their console debuts, which explains why many observers expect a later GTA VI port. Historical patterns are context, not a schedule. Development scope, optimization, anti-cheat, online services, and commercial strategy can all change the gap.
